Live music is life music. It’s concerts that unite us—intimate or elbow-to-elbow, swaying together, singing along even if we don’t know the words. There’s something dare we say slightly magical when a band puts together an album that resonates with periods in our life, or a song attaches itself to a time, place, or person in our life. Music is best when shared. It’s been a long road to the return to live music, and for this, our fifth Sounds of the City, we speak to those who have dedicated their lives to making music and to making sure it’s heard—carrying the songs to us, and to you.
